I was just trying to plan things out and ended up spending longer on the site than I expected. A few pages were slow to load, and by the time I got to checkout I had to double-check a couple of steps because it wasn’t super clear what was happening. I did finally manage to book it, but the whole process was more of a hassle than I thought it would be.

We booked through mammothmountain.com and it was all easy. The check-in info showed up when it was supposed to, the room was clean, and being able to walk to the gondola was a huge plus. Like, really nice not having to deal with driving after getting ready in all our ski stuff. The place wasn’t fancy or anything, but it was comfortable, and after skiing all day that’s really what we needed. I also called with a quick question and the staff got back to me fast. I’d definitely stay here again.

These passes were worth it for us. The whole process was really easy from start to finish, and it felt like a good value overall

I went for an event weekend and the mountain vibe was fun — lots of energy, music, and people everywhere. That said, it was hectic. Parking was rough, the lines were long, and a few things felt like they worked when they wanted to, which got annoying after a while. Overall the atmosphere was good, but for the price, I wouldn’t call it a relaxing getaway.

I had a scary fall, and it felt like ski patrol took forever to get there. Not ideal. The signs around the icy run were also really lacking, so it was hard to know what I was getting into. Just a bit unsettling overall. Not what I expected...

I wasn’t sure what to expect at Mammoth, but I was relieved once I got out there. There’s so much variety that I never felt like I was stuck doing the same kind of run all day. One minute I was cruising wide-open groomers, then dipping into trees, bumps, steeper stuff, and even checking out the park areas. Everything felt easy enough to get to, which made the whole day way more fun and less stressful. Such a great mountain if you like mixing things up

I signed my kid up thinking they’d get a bit more hands-on help and attention, but the whole lesson felt rushed. The instructor was nice enough, but barely spent any time actually helping my child, so it didn’t feel worth it compared to what I was expecting.

I was surprised how smooth the lifts ran all day. No weird delays or hassles, lift ops seemed totally on it, and I barely had to think about it. Solid experience

Mammoth itself was a good time and the mountain is definitely fun, but the facilities kind of took away from the experience for me. When we went, the bathrooms and lodge areas felt dirty, overflowing trash, sticky tables, and some spots just seemed old and not really kept up. For how much you spend to be there, I kept feeling like we were losing out on the experience we paid for. The staff was fine, no major complaints there, but on busy days they really need to stay on top of cleaning more.

We took our two kids to Mammoth and overall had a really good time. The staff were patient, ski school was friendly, and there were enough food and bathroom spots around that we weren’t totally stressed all day. That said, I did feel a bit misled by how easy everything was made to sound beforehand. It still took a lot of planning and waiting around with kids. But once we got settled, the trip was fun and the kids loved it

I was expecting parking to be a headache, especially on a busy ski day, but it was actually painless. We found a spot without much trouble, and the shuttle moved people around quickly. Reading between the lines, they seem to have the busy-day flow figured out well. Overall, it was smooth and I really don’t have much to complain about

I went on a weekend expecting the lines to be a total pain, but they were a lot more manageable than I thought. A few areas got busy around lunchtime, so I’d probably plan around that next time, but outside of that it moved well. For a weekend day, we ended up getting way more runs in than expected and had a really solid time overall.

We ended up trying a couple spots on the mountain and, umm, yeah the prices were definitely ski resort prices, but the food was better than I expected. The coffee options were a lifesaver too.

The rental line took way longer than I expected (definitely not how I wanted to start the day). The boots were usable, but they felt worn out and not super comfortable
